McGrath's Plasterboard Disposal Services :
The recycling of plasterboard merits a special and complex procedure. As plasterboard contains sulphate which is a contaminate, plasterboard is categorised as hazardous waste. Only specialist waste disposal experts can safely recycle and dispose of plasterboard and gypsum materials in accordance with the Environment Agency protocol and Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) criteria.
Since 1st April 2009 UK and European Legislation prohibited plasterboard being landfilled with general waste. However in accordance with BSI Publicly Available Specification (BSI PAS 109:2008) we can provide a 100% recycling route for all waste plasterboard.
