DOT Type 1 Re-cycled Crushed Concrete DTP SHW 803

• Made from pure concrete.
• Contains a range of sizes from 50mm all the way down to fines, which is designed to ‘bind' together when compacted.
• Used as a Sub Base to roads, drives, pathways and garage or shed bases. Also used as a fill to trenches around pipes and cables in road works.
• This material is fully certificated

50mm Down Recycled Crushed Concrete/Brick (Type 1 Graded) / DOT Type 2

• Made up of crushed concrete and brick. Made to the size of a Type 1 but can not be referred to as a DOT Type 1 as it does not meet the Type 1 Frost Test due to the brick content. (When moisture gets into the brick and freezes it causes the material to crack and break up).
• Used as a Sub Base for roads, car parks, paths and shed/garage bases.
• Fully meets a D.O.T Type 2 specification which is a lower grade Sub Base.

50mm Single Size Re-cycled Crushed Concrete/Brick

• Made from a mixture on crushed concrete and crushed brick. This material is usually mixed with fines to produce 50mm Down (Type 1 Graded)

75mm Down Re-cycled Crushed Concrete/Brick / DOT Type 2

• A bulk fill material used for making up ground, a mat for piling rigs to sit on etc.
  Also referred to as Crusher Run or 3” Down . Made up of a range of sizes from 75mm all the way down to fines so that it can be compacted. Also meets a DOT Type 2 specificationt.

75mm Single Size Re-cycled Crushed Concrete/Brick

• Made up of crushed concrete and crushed brick. No fines content. Mainly used on wet ground.

75mm Single Size Re-cycled Crushed Concrete

• Made from pure concrete (same as the DOT Type 1). Contains no small sizes or fines.
• Used mainly for drainage layers.

Class 6F1 Re-cycled Crushed Concrete Fines

• A by product from the production of Grade B Crushed Concrete/Brick but will also contain other recycled materials such as sand or soil. Typically 10mm down to dust.
• ‘Class 6F1' refers to the Specification for Highway Works. This material is used as a Capping Layer usually the first layer on a site particularly if it was contaminated ground.

4-10mm Single Size Re-cycled Crushed Concrete

• Made from pure crushed concrete, this material is an alternative to 10mm shingle. Can be used for filling in around pipes.

10-20mm Single Size Re-cycled Crushed Concrete

• Made from pure crushed concrete this material is an alternative to 20mm shingle. Can be used for pipe bedding and as an aggregate in the production of all in ballast and ready mixed concrete..

0-4MM Recycled Crushed Concrete (Sharp Sand) 

A cost saving alternative to quarried Sharp Sand or Reject Sand. Ideal for bedding to Paving, Cable/Pipe Laying or as a Blinding Sand.

0-20mm Re-cycled Crushed Concrete / Sharp Sand Ballast

• Ballast is a 50/50 mixture of stone and sand used to make concrete. This product uses a recycled crushed concrete making it cheaper than normal gravel ballast.
